While still in grade school, David began playing drums in a band with his cousins that led to studies with Lenny Rogers and Dave Throckmorton, a minor in music from Duquesne University, and teaching percussion at Mars High School for over a decade. Before joining URB, he played with The Abbey Brass, Sidewinder, and Nashville Trax. He plays Drum Workshop (dw) drums and Paiste cymbals.
